Change of Nice 5 Buses said...

Dear BMTC Depot Manager of Kengeri,

Namaskara. Nice 5 buses are very old which is plying between R.R.Nagar to Wipro Gate. The drivers and conducters are very humble, pleasing and good. But the condition of the bus is old and hence the driver could not drive the vehicle faster in the Nice Road. Many times it breaks down in the middle. Kindly allot new buses for Nice 5 services both in the morning and in the evening. If possible please increase the services in the morning and evening by just one. Lot of IT employees are plying regularly and we dont mind paying a higher amount. Our concern is reaching office very late in the morning and also reaching home very late in the evening. I hope and trust that some new or good buses are allotted to Nice 5 and help us to have a peaceful and stress free journey. Once again a good appreciation goes to the driver and conductor for their yeomen services.

Plenty of busses running from agara to marathahalli without passengers. Many Volvo busses also. But no busses from varthur to nimhans. No body is there in BMTC planning section. Why no people can travel in this route? Buses R running where ever not necessary. People in this route struggling like any thing. No body is there in BMTC to give feedback? Because of this public depended on private busses. Again thus leads BMTC to loss. So BMTC is itself responsible for its loss. Not public.

Hello BMTC, earlier, from upkar layout to majestic and KR Market, via balaji layout mallathahalli, there were four buses plying in two shifts - 223P & 235R respectively. From last six months, 1 bus is cancelled on each route and it had become serious problem for the elderly people, school and college students, teachers, parents and middle aged people to travel to and fro after evening 4 pm till night 11pm.

The bus 223-PA which was also running before between Kempegowda bus stand and Upkar layout via mudalpalya in double shifts is also stopped plying an year back and renamed as 238U, which always halts at Ambedkar College kengunte circle and run back to KBS. This issue of turning back buses at kengunte is not only with 223PA, but also with 223P and 235R also where these buses won't come to upkar layout via balaji layout mallathahalli.

Now since an year, almost 3 buses were removed, This is not helping citizens of balaji layout and mallathahalli from 5.30 AM till evening or late night hours as most of the elderly people, students and office goers are only depending on autos with huge demand.

Based on this, I would like to bring some observations here. Each and Everyday minimum 3 autos will ply towards ORR from balaji or upkar layout in a minute. so here is the calculation.
1 minute = 3 autos (normal + ola)
60 minutes or 1 hour = 180 autos
per auto they charge minimum 30 rupees to reach ORR from balaji layout or UP layout. hence for 1 hour, people spend for auto around 5400 rupees. totally for 16 hrs from morning 6 AM till 10PM, people in balaji layout or UP layout and surrounding spend 86,400 rupees for an auto in a day. This calculation is only for one direction from Upkar or balaji layout towards Kengunte or ORR. If Better route buses were made run in this route like connecting routes or metro feeders to Muddinapalya or East West college or Ullal Upanagara, BMTC can make atleast 10% of the money people spending on Autos in a day in this route.

Could you please reinstate the services and please look into this matter seriously from the facility or service to the people to motivate them towards using Public transport for life and safety to avoid spoilers.

Bus number KA01, F4825, Today I boarded this bus from BEML GATE, Rajarajeshwari Nagar to Mysore Road Nayadahalli Metro Station, the bus far is Rs. 15, I gave Rs. 20, but conductor gave ticket only for Rs. 10/- and returned Rs. 5/-. When I asked him why he is not giving Rs. 15/- ticket, he says it's ok keep it.
